Dear Mani ji, The plant does require shade. One need not fertilize it so much. However if the climate in your area is dry, you may have to use a mist sprayer during summer. The plant is susceptible to rot due to fungal infection. One could use a spray of Pseudomonas florescence (a bacteria that inhibits growth of most fungi). Regards Yazdy.
