Many Thanks to Sabu ji and Ramchandran ji

The flowering season is long over and therefore there were no flowers. Even
so, there were many birds in the evening (Indian Pitta, Orange-headed
Ground Thrush etc.)
The plant did seem cultivated as it was on a private property.
Height of plant: 10 feet, erect but curved [Its specific epithet *elatior*
means
tall, which refers to the plant height.]
Habitat: Shade ++, on forest floor.

Once again, many thanks for the quick replies and identity.

Regards,

Samir Mehta
