Hi Karuna ji,
Not at all unknow but just opposite. J.D.Hooker (1887) named this as
Glochidion assamicum while Robert Wight (1854) called this Glochidion
ellipticum and again in the same year as Glochidion malabaricum. All these
species were united by Chakrabarty & Gangopadhyay (1997) and the name
Glochidion ellipticum Wight was chosen by them for the combined species and
therefore this name is to be applied for the present images unless you can
establish that they are distinct species.
