thanks Dr. Kumar.

I have grown orchids in Delhi in my home previously. Some of them used to bloom
twice in a season. I had one terrestrail one also. Which was not very fussy. It
stayed very long in the house. Now I have none. Now with age I cannot pay that
much attention also. I want to know which terrestrial vars. will do well in
Delhi. Cymbodium is one of them.Once sure of the vars. I may try to get from
Sikkim.

Regards,

Promila

Provided a GREEN HOUSE & GOOD HUMIDITY, any tropical orchid can be grow in
Delhi.
Easiest plant to grow could be Phaius and Spathoglottis; with slight care,
Phalaenopsis, Vanda allies, Dendrobiums and Cymbidums can be grown too.

Check the link, to see how they provide humidity to the roots by planting
foliage plants (1) below the orchid pots, or the easiest way is to make water
canals (2) on floor.
Hope this would be of use.
