Thanks Aarti ji. Frankly, I got to know of *Aglaia* only when the garden contractor gave me the ID. And I got convinced too when it matched descriptions on internet. Yet thought of getting it validated, wanting to know from garden enthusiasts whether *A. odorata* is popular. I have seen *Aglaia elaeagnoidea* as a moderate sized tree along Agumbe Ghat.
