Images at FOI do not clearly show the sepals which are diagnostic along with the leaves as flowers look similar in most of the Ruellia species. Your 1st image also does not show the sepals. Pl. check https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/a/acanthaceae/ruellia/ruellia-tuberosa
