Indeed Garg ji, they look different. I went with the ID given by the gardener. I neglected verifying. Did some searching, but could not find such pink flowered (hopefully) *Alpinia* or cultivar of *Alpinia galanga*. Will wait for the ID. Regards. Dinesh
