the lightness is extreme variegation in the albinsation of the leaflets

Its not uncommon in succulents to go haywire in the lack of color
google it and you will see many many extreme variegation in all kinds of
succulents.

TO DIFFERENTIATE between true variegation and grafting
one needs full side view of the houseplant
