Hello all Lagerstroemia indica is a shrub with alternate leaves. this plant is Lagerstroemia thoreli Gagnepin....(pink flowers, can be observed in Fort area in Mumbai , and at Goregaon). the other with violet flower is Lagerstroemia reginae Roxb.,
