Vijayasankar ji
It may be one of the two species mentioned by me. Most Floras talk about D.
polystachya, but also mention D. oppositifolia growing only in India.
Perhaps we have to find differences between the two species to conclude. May
be both occur in India, former cultivated as in neighbouring countries, and
latter in native form, but often cultivated in other parts of India.
