There is almost an avenue of these trees on White's Road, (the road connecting Mount Road to Royapettah Clock Tower). This is a very common tree in Chennai. There are some on Kodambakkam High Road, near Palmgrove Hotel. The leaves all fall off before the flowers show up. I'll get some more shots tomorrow. Rgds, Padmini Raghavan.
