I read the description for *Vachellia nilotica* subsp. *kraussiana* at Plantz
Africa. <http://pza.sanbi.org/vachellia-nilotica-subsp-kraussiana>
It say the plant has long spines.

I thought *Vachellia nilotica* subsp.* tomentosa* bears no spines;

Hopefully next time when I go to the site will get pictures of its pods.
