Flora of China <http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=220012739> gives its distribution as *Bhutan*, N India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Philippines, *Russia*, *Sikkim*; N Africa, SW Asia, *Europe, North America*. We also have records in efi site from Kashmir at Spergula arvensis <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/c/caryophyllaceae/spergula/spergula-arvensis> So heights can be more than specifies in Checklist of Nepal (which is not always correct). Only just check whether your images are matching with this species or not ?
