Rashida-- Olea europaea performs best in Mediterranean to desert climates. It performs poorly where humidity is high, but tolerates extreme heat.
I don't really know the climate areas of India well, but I would imagine that there are areas that it would grow. I will leave others here more familiar with the region to comment further.
