I think it’s Viola diffusa, the description in Flora of Bhutan perfectly
match with the photos. I also looked at type specimen:
https://plants.jstor.org/stable/viewer/10.5555/al.ap.specimen.bm001191014

So I would go with Viola diffusa.

Bhas

To me looks different from images at *Viola diffusa* Ging.
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/v/violaceae/viola/viola-diffusa>
and
as per FOC illustration
<http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=94259&flora_id=2>

Did not find a match as per comparative images at Viola

Pl. check with other species as per checklist of Nepal

Dear Mr. Garg,

Actually I did check all these beforehand and re-checked. I did not find
exact match

to any one but some closeness to V. diffusa however it is for me regarding
the

flowering seasonality.

The green patch in the center of the flower and the leaf pattern looks like
matching.

Enclosing some links for comparison.

Species Viola diffusa Ging.

I could only open one url link. Here also leaf base is different.
Instead of just creating link with url, it will be nice if it is created on
name of the relevant site etc. e.g. Flora of Singapore, FOC illustration
etc. as I give in references.

The links were from the net and I just tried to copy and paste. These are
not from specific

sites.

I checked all possible but could not get a match. Do not know which one is
this ?

Thank you.
