Dear All,
Many videos of Ayurvedic practitionars or traditional Ayurvedic
healers specify one charactristic to identify Giloy(Tinospora cordifolia).
Even read in one book about the same character to identify this plant.

Providing the following link which says, Tinospora cordifolia has very
delicate skin as bark after certain period of life of plant. If we remove
skin, inside there is fleshy stem.
I had Tinospora cordifolia for three years, but never observed such fleshy
stem. Stem of my T. cordifolia was not such fleshy. Such kind of skin never
seen on it. The characters like leaf veins, flowers, fruit, cross cut
section of stem showing tiny holes was matching exactly. But this character
of delicate skin and fleshy stem never occured.

Question: Is this the primary identification character of Giloy(Tinospora
cordifolia) plant?

Thanks
Sharmila
