I know Ushadi Rhizopogon roseolus is a big group..

It may be some other sp., I think this to be R. roseolus as it is reported from 
neighbouring state, J&K. 

About edibility a local was collecting this from Pine forest and they said they 
eat it from years moreover it is also considered delicacy in some other areas..

I have also tried it, it really tastes good...
