Dear Giby, will not be able to answer your queries very well ... the agony is ... the plant is no longer in the garden ... the thought never occurred to me, that a small shrub may be dislodged / removed to make way as part of garden's routine maintenance.
Though eager to know the ID, will not stress much on my request ... because unfortunately cannot recollect much about this plant; photos too are simply two. By now having seen quite a few *A. solanacea* posts, this plant seems to be getting far away from it. Back of my mind, am sure somebody will crack the ID. Regards.
