Dear Saroj, That is an interesting point you raised. Prashant's picture of Pogostemon benghalensis on FOI was taken on 31st January in Maharashtra. So December doesn't look all that wrong, which was taken from Ingalhalikar's Flowers of Sahyadri. The second image by Girija was taken in Mussoorie on 1st March. Maybe the flowering times in Western Ghats and the Himalayan foothills are somewhat different.
