Yes Satish ji ... Selvalakshmi ji has put it "poplar-like"

Pronounced as pop-ULL-nee-uh , the epithet *populnea* alludes to having
leaves like that of poplar plant.
The generic name *Thespesia*, pronounced as thess-PEE-zee-uh is derived from
the Greek *thespesios* meaning divine or marvelous ... perhaps refers to the
trees found planted near sacred buildings, churches in the Pacific islands.
