I did not find mention of Paeonia officinalis in the eFloras site. I found differences between Paeonia lactiflora & Paeonia suffruticosa (Tree Peony) <https://homeguides.sfgate.com/difference-between-paeonia-lactiflora-tree-peony-66485.html> Both these are described in Flora of China as per http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=200008041 http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=200008034
