Hello all, Monsoon has almost knocked the doors of Kerala and has sparsely raining here last night, in Mumbai. Wild Grapes, I observed last week in Murbad (45 kms from Kalyan) and hence I feel the time of seasonal flowers has arrived. Karvi (Carvia callosa) is said to flower once in 7 years (in mass blooming) , but last year I observed it only at Rajmachi & Bhimashankar (although not in mass bloom, but sparse) . Can I request the group members to report abt the flowering of this shrub on the egroup.
