Hairs on stamens in *Cyanotis*, *Murdannia *and *Tradescantia *are unicellular and moniliform as well. But here it can be referred as food or help to attract the pollinators. Hairs on fruits, as in section Rhopalephora are usually glandular, and may referred as to improve the seed dispersal.
