Dear Garg ji,
   Please have a look at the pictures of Elaeagnus latifolia
<http://portal.cybertaxonomy.org/flora-malesiana/cdm_dataportal/taxon/8e354e35-f501-4c64-8728-c20345749f4e>

at Flora of Peninsular India:
 http://flora-peninsula-indica.ces.iisc.ac.in/herbsheet.php?id=3529&cat=7
The flowers look different from those clicked by Dinesh
<https://www.flickr.com/photos/dinesh_valke/6368754647/in/photolist-4sWtuk-aGMvqR-aGMu94-aGMwu8-aGMwSB-s7YxXb-s4cTZJ-eyETEW-9cxyNA-dD256q-eyEYUG-dzGfPY-dD25Eq-roLQ3Y-9cxCZu-dD26ow-spH5bi-9cxAKY-9curCe-dzGfpS-eyEWi1-spxRNV-9cupsg-dCVGot-skJdRX-aGMxo8-dzAL1v-dCVHze-9cun5g-skLHWF>.

Distinct difference in the relative size of the inflorescence and the
leaves. Flowers in flora-peninsula are very small compared to the leaves.
