When I got an invitation to attend the ceremony and accept the award i did not believe it. It was a pleasant surprise for me. Here i will like to confess to all of you that It is HOPE, Hariyali and Jidyanasa from Thane , who gave me an apportunity to work with them. In last 14 years i could participate in many programmes like educative lectures delivered by dedicated people, exhbitions, many nature camps, educative workshops for students and teachers, nature trails, seed collection drives, nursary development, tree plantetion programmes, solid waste management programmes, zero garbage at home,water conservation activities in wada or Thane areas, environment related projects for school children, college and school teachers, enviroment write ups in paper, lectures in various school colleges and carporate bodies and many many more only because of these organisations which are actively working in Thane. Every member of these organisations was very supportive, cooperative who added a lot in my knowledge, and tolerated me at times. only because of them i could explore various fields to work and the abilities in me myself to work in those fields. Along with them the organisation like Paryavaren Dakshta manch, Samarth Bharat Vyaspeeth also gave me apportunity to work with them and explore my talents. Today I am greatful to Samrth Bharat Vyaspeeth, Hariyali, Vidyan Manch, Jidnyasa and Thane Janata Coop Bank for finding me worth to felicitate with this award. I am also great ful to the Viya Prasarak Mandal which is the age old education trust in Thane who have trusted me as a principal of a very reputed college in Thane and have not only given me all facilities and freedom to work in and outside the premises but also have supported me in all my activities. I am equally thankful to y collegues, friends and my dear students who always stand next to me and render all the help needed. I am very proud to br the daughter of Mr. Madhukar Deuskar and Late Mrs Meera Deuskar who knowingly or unknowingly have sown the seeds of social work in me and have encouraged all my efforts to work in this field. I will be forgetting in my duties if I dont mention Kiran my husband, Parag my son ans Rajlaxmi my daughter in law who spared me from house work to do the work I adore.
