I know this grass by sight . Probably of genus Dichanthium , D . foveolatum is my guess . This is commonly seen in shallow waterlogged areas in South Gujarat as well . I remember it as a common invasive in Rice crops in Bihar . [Disclaimer :: not good at grasses at all ]
