This is *Euphorbia indica* Lam., a common weed throughout India.
*E. hypericifolia* L., has longer leaves, which are glabrous and narrowed
towards the upper part; the plants are erect, decumbent, stems are reddish
and stiff; the petaloid appendages of glands are larger
