Congratulations Mam. for your relentless efforts. Dr.T.K.Paul Former Scientist BSI (Dr.T.K. Paul) Botanist Central National Herbarium Botanical Survey of India Howrah-711103 From: "J.M. Garg" <[email protected]> Sent: Sun, 17 Nov 2019 16:57:46 GMT+0530 To: undisclosed-recipients:; Subject: Efi site has completed 9 years. Efloraofindia site <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/home=> has completed 9 years since being initiated on 2.11.10. Today, eFI is the largest systematically arranged collection of images of plants of India. More than 3,00,000 images of more than 13,000 species uploaded by 3,000+ members from all parts of India, makes it the largest collection from India available on net. All the species’ pages are having images for easy identification along with comparative images at Genera and Family pages. More than 2,00,000 images are already displayed as thumbnails, anyone of which on clicking shows the original image. And this treasure is ‘freely available to all’ without any advertisements. It is the time to feel proud for this great endeavour. It is also the time to salute the selfless contributions of The Pillars <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/about-us/pillars-of-efloraofindia=>, Subject Experts <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/about-us/subject-experts=>, Moderators <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/about-us/moderators=>, Major contributors <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/about-us/major-contributors=> and other members of efloraofindia google e-group <https://groups.google.com/forum/#%21forum/indiantreepix=>. And it is also the time to strengthen our determination to showcase all the plant species of India on the canvas of eFI. -- With regards, J.M.Garg 'Creating awareness of Indian Flora & Fauna' <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jmgarg1=> Winner of Wipro-NFS Sparrow Awards 2014 for efloraofindia <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/award-for-efloraofindia=>.
