Yes, they are easy to confuse especially as in the Mumbai area they both 
grow in the same forests. It is much more difficult to differentiate from 
pictures than from the tree itself.

Leaf venation differs, the colour of new foliage in each species is 
distinct, the colour and texture of the bark in each is different.
