Nice pictures Bharathi!
Both *Barleria montana* and *B. prattensis* are morphologically similar,
hence often confusing. I remember collecting *Barleria montana* from
Paruvathamalai hills. The seeds in this species are hairy. If you see
glabrous seeds, then it could be *B. prattensis*.
