Gurucharan ji, Tanay ji, Acacia nilotica L. Ssp.indica [Syn – Acacia Arabica] In Acacia nilotica L. - Dark brown or black longitudinally fissured bark is seen. [ It is not seen in the photos ] Flowers – Sessile, yellow, in globose heads. Flowering season : June- January English – Indian gum Arabic Kannada – Kari Jaali Mara. I have seen this tree it posses black longitudinally fissured bark. As said by Gurucharn ji ,Acacia species are diificult to identify without flowers and fruits.
