Dear Yazdy ji,

These are saplings of the tree *Naringi crenulata*, called as 'Maha vilvam'
in Tamil. Leaves used for the treatment of diabetes. Propagated by
root-suckers. As a member of Citrus family (Rutaceae) it has got numerous
minute oil glands all over the leaf-surface and emits aroma when crushed.
Fruits are small, 1-1.5 cm across, probably relished by monkeys. It will
be good if you have some trees of this medicinal plant species in your
estate.

With regards

R. Vijayasankar
