Dear members,
Attachment size guidelines has been modified in Posting Guidelines
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/posting-guidelines> as below:
*Images should be posted as attachments. Overall size of attachments for
posting at a time should be up to 7 mb (as per posting restrictions in
Google groups). However, one can also post more images of total size upto 7
mb each, one by one at a time in reply to the original mails.* However,
minimum image size should not be less than 150 KB (with minimum size of
1000 by 800 pixels). Members are requested to post as big size as possible
in pixels by keeping each file size up to say 7 Mb for seeing the details
required for correct ids.

It is more likely that we may be more correct in our ids, if we are able to
see the details properly. We are trying to rely more and more on experts
for niche areas. They should be shown images which have more and more
closer details just like very high resolution specimens. Also chances of
getting proper ids are more, in such cases. Efforts by experts will also be
more. in such a situation.

Our database is consulted more and more laymen and taxonomic fraternity
all over the world. So there is a need to have more and more high
resolution images in our database.
