Since there is no known name for this plant in Marathi, I am giving a name 
*कुक्कुरदंत* *kukkuradanta*, literal meaning - dog tooth, कुक्कुर = dog; 
दंत = tooth.
In Kannada (*ನಾಯಿಕುಳಿ* *naayikuli*) and Tulu (*ನಾಯಿಕ್ಕೂಲಿ* *naaikkuli*) - 
the names literally mean "dog tooth" ... due to plant's well-known 
therapeutic efficacy against dog bite.
