Dear Mr. Kunhikannan Ji,

there is one more question in this regard. Normally pruning is done after the
fruits are finished. Here in this case when it should be done? If it is done
during monsoon there is always a danger of fungal and bacterial infections to
set in. If it is done in February it may effect the growth. Is it advisable to
prune the twigs/branches in the month of October when growiing period is almost
over.

Regards,

Promila

try to multiply the mango tree from the twigs/ branches if any coming from
lower part of the trunk or from lower branches. It may help to rejuvenate the
tree. This can be done through grafting or layering techniques.

Dear all,
Please tell me how and when to prune the old braches (croosing branches) of
mango trees. Because the branches started getting into the braches of other
trees next to them the yield is effected.
How to rejuvinate the old mango trees which started decaying with age.
Regards,
Promila
