To me also appears more closer to Mentha spicata <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/l/lamiaceae/mentha/mentha-spicata> rather than Mentha × piperita <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/l/lamiaceae/mentha/mentha-piperita-l>, as per images and details therein.
