While revising efi site efloraofindia Protulaca pages, I found that Catalogue of Life <http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/ea39a507e81c1ed0da18926366ba3ada> gives only distribution of Portulaca pilosa var. tuberosa (Roxb.) V.V.Sivarajan <http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/18d9802a9032c64407dc801f2411c17c> in India. It is also supported by POWO <http://plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:699402-1> (based on latest bibliographic references). There is no distribution of *Portulaca pilosa *subsp.* pilosa* in India as per Catalogue of life <http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/a1f6afd0c3abad6069e8182f2970d0f5> and POWO <http://plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:316354-2>. In view, we should take all over postings at Portulaca pilosa <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/po/portulacaceae/portulaca/portulaca-pilosa> to be Portulaca pilosa var. tuberosa <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/po/portulacaceae/portulaca/portulaca-tuberosa> -- With regards, J.M.Garg
