Hi, Shareef ji, Is the inflorescence axillary or terminal ? Do you have an image showing that ? *Ardisia humilis *Vahl have distribution in Bangladesha and Mynamar as per Catalogue of life <https://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/4f3d5ea956339ac82218784ca771128f> and east Himalayas as per POWO <http://www.plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:587087-1> ; As per keys in Flora of China, Difference appears to be based on inflorescence. For *Ardisia humilis* Vahl <http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=200016775>, Inflorescences terminal, rarely terminating lateral branchlets, subumbellate or cymose in pyramidal panicles, 8-17(-20) cm (FoC illustration <http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=2366&flora_id=2>). For *Ardisia elliptica* Thunberg <http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=210000072> (syn: *Ardisia solanacea* (Poir.) Roxb. <https://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/470009e504506d3b76ca92312645a1c1>), Inflorescences axillary or subterminal on basally thickened lateral branches, subumbellate or umbellate. Pl. clarify.
Most of our observations in efloraofindia have been of *Ardisia elliptica* <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/po/primulaceae/ardisia/ardisia-elliptica>, as per details herein.
