to me, it looks like Polygonum hydropiper, The leaf juice is pungent and
strong-smelling. Crushed leaves are put into the deep pond inhabiting fish
which forces the fish to come out from their hiding as the plant juice is
irritating to the fish eyes Forms patches in moist, boggy places.
