I was looking for an authentic site for verification.
I think I found one which discusses three similar species almost
simultaneously, with key features to distinguish them.
As per this possibility of it being *Viola riviniana *are more than Viola
reichenbachiana or Viola odorata (if it is not any other species as listed
in efloraofindia at Viola
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/v/violaceae/viola>
).
But I feel closest is *Viola canescens* Wall.
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/v/violaceae/viola/viola-canescens>
only.

Pl. see details and key features at
https://www.first-nature.com/flowers/viola-reichenbachiana.php
https://www.first-nature.com/flowers/viola-odorata.php
https://www.first-nature.com/flowers/viola-riviniana.php

Both POWO
<http://www.plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:869126-1>
and Catalogue of Life
<https://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/583232d7b499898dbe97f07ddbe07e58>
consider *Viola silvatica* Fries ex Hartm. fil. as a syn. of *Viola
riviniana *Rchb. (But no distribution in this part of the world).
