Garg Ji

I have taken these photos from Plants of the World Online (POWO), a kew
botanical garden site enlisting some plants.

As per flora of Pakistan, *Commicarpus stenocarpus *has lilac or Pink Puple
flowers whereas in the photos attached it is white (a characteristic of
*Commicarpus
plumbagineus*). Moreover, the anthocarp is tuberculate which means that
the anthocarp bears glands which are small projections notably without any
stalks. but in *Commicarpus plumbagineus *the glands are stalked. Global
plants on JSTOR explains *C. stenocarpus *anthocarp as having 3 shortly
stalked or sub sessile subapically placed glands. whereas in case of *C.
plumbagineus *photos attached in my mail shows almost 10 sub sessile
subapically placed glands.

the two plants are different and i am looking for *C. plumbagineus*.

Sir, can you guide me to a person living in areas around coimbatore wher
the plant has been reported?

Alok
