On the other hand, there are 507 occurrences for Mussaenda frondosa <https://efloraofindia.com/2011/03/15/mussaenda-frondosa/> in GBIF <https://www.gbif.org/species/2892470>. I could not find the keys to differentiate them, but the type specimen of *M. tomentosa* says it all. I think it should be Mussaenda frondosa <https://efloraofindia.com/2011/03/15/mussaenda-frondosa/> only as per images and details herein.
