After going through different resources like keys in another thread: Rubiaceae - Ixora sp. for ID <https://groups.google.com/g/indiantreepix/c/EaOE0OfNOFE>, efi, GBIF, POWO and CoL, I think plants from Sawmliana ji will be *Ixora balakrishnii* Deb & Rout (syn: *Ixora roxburghii* N.P.Balakr., nom. illeg.; *Ixora villosa* Roxb., nom. illeg.) as per Catalogue of life <http://www.catalogueoflife.org/annual-checklist/2019/details/species/id/4225d31a63d62a51fbff58e706f4cb0c/synonym/c67f0059c03ffd98a3f6e51278982f81> and POWO <http://www.plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:969017-1> and GBIF <https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/gallery?taxon_key=7451616>- specimen 1 <https://api.gbif.org/v1/image/unsafe/https%3A%2F%2Fmedialib.naturalis.nl%2Ffile%2Fid%2FL.2920840%2Fformat%2Flarge> and specimen 2 <https://api.gbif.org/v1/image/unsafe/https%3A%2F%2Fmedialib.naturalis.nl%2Ffile%2Fid%2FL.2920841%2Fformat%2Flarge> Another closer one is *I.subsessilis* as per GBIF <https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/gallery?country=IN&taxon_key=2906016>, but different. *Ixora undulata <https://efloraofindia.com/2014/07/08/ixora-undulata/> *and *Ixora thwaitesii* <https://efloraofindia.com/2018/08/27/ixora-thwaitesii/> (syn: *Ixora acuminata* Thwaites) look different. Also P.subcapitata looks different as per GBIF <https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/gallery?taxon_key=2924617>.
