Some earlier relevant feedback: I think it will be Ruellia ciliatiflora <https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fefloraofindia.com%2F2020%2F12%2F13%2Fruellia-ciliatiflora%2F&data=04%7C01%7C%7C8d404e18fc9147ef701008d8db046203%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637500159170441765%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=XpKZO5TI8V2mdLiBEt2xumrMrqLefXJG%2FrWVTmc30PM%3D&reserved=0> as per images and references herein (Images from Duars, West Bengal). - from me I agree with Garg ji.- from Mahadeswara ji This is not Ruellia ciliatiflora. I think it is probably a species of Asystasia (note club-shaped capsule) but I can only see two stamens. It is not Asystasia gangetica as far as I can see. Sorry not to be more definite. Regards John Wood Hi, Bimal ji, May I request you to pl. send high resolution images to check more details, in view of doubts expressed by Saroj ji. I also find leaves to be a bit different as per GBIF <https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gbif.org%2Foccurrence%2Fgallery%3Ftaxon_key%3D5415406&data=04%7C01%7C%7C8d404e18fc9147ef701008d8db046203%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637500159170451757%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=wAHQPddzBxOYEAWoAbBSDigemr%2BGKtJe9Tor8xSwXM0%3D&reserved=0> – specimen <https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.gbif.org%2Fv1%2Fimage%2Funsafe%2Fhttp%253A%252F%252F161.111.171.57%252Ffcgi-bin%252Fiipsrv.fcgi%253FFIF%253D%252FCatalogo%252FFanerogamia%252FIMGS_web%252FIMGS_jp2%252FMA-01-00794816.jp2%2526WID%253D2200%2526QLT%253D40%2526CVT%253Djpeg&data=04%7C01%7C%7C8d404e18fc9147ef701008d8db046203%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637500159170451757%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=cm9B9zw7z0NuIbDOThSgIdgbbxyehYI2Lyc5pCNoRp8%3D&reserved=0>- from me ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: *Bimal Sar kar* <[email protected]> Date: Tue, 16 Feb 2021 at 05:39 Subject: ASYSTASIA GANGETICA : MORE IMAGES To: J.M.
