It has characters of several general like Pseudoraphis, Hygrorhyza,
Hymenachne, etc.
But after a lot of thought, I would rather like to place it in genus
Eriochloa, the inflorescence resembling Eriochloa acuminata and spikelets
resembling Eriochloa aristata, both of which are American species.
The cup below the spikelet is not clear in the picture though. The stem,
node and leaf are more like Eriochloa than the other three genera. The
hairs on the spikelets are like that of Eriochloa.
I suggest you could collect it again and try to see the characters in
detail to confirm. Probably, It could be a described as a new species.
