Hallo all, wiki says Dacryopinax spathularia (syn. Guepinia spathularia) is an edible jelly fungus. It is orange in color. In Chinese culture, it is called guihua er (???; literally "sweet osmanthus ear," referring to its similarity in appearance to that flower). It is sometimes included in a vegetarian dish called Buddha's delight.
and the recipe is to be found here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddha%27s_delight Enjoy Nalini ----- Original Message ----- From: tanay bose To: Dinesh Valke Cc: efloraofindia Sent: Friday, July 16, 2010 4:30 PM Subject: Re: [efloraofindia:41584] DV- 11JUL10 - 0835 :: yellow finger-like mushroom at Prabal Machi Dacryopinax spathularia (Schwein.)
