I have seen Habenaria gibsonii var. foetida from India to Laos in wild and
so I know few things about appearance which cant be explained. So easy way
is anything that doesnt fit in that will be var. gibsonii.
As such, the petals are bifurcate in both but the length of upper lobe is
longer in var. foetida and shorter in var. gibsonii. Var. gibsonii is a bit
off white to yellow to even orange and they have good smell. Var. foetida
is white to green coloured.
Thanks and regards
Pankaj
