Earlier, I suggested two species to Bimal Da in a private mail. Now, I
think those id suggestions were wrong.

Later, I came across a paper, titled "Typifications and nomenclatural notes
on Indian Myrtaceae". No species description can be found in the said note.
But it is a very important document to identify *Syzygium*. Because this
note provides current accepted names of old names described in old
classics. And the paper also elaborates on species distribution.

Petioles and leaf attachment cannot be seen in the attached photographs.
Flowers seem to have (relatively) long pedicells.
