Thanks Garg ji, I am not sure if all cultivated species would be listed in Flora of peninsular India <http://flora-peninsula-indica.ces.iisc.ac.in/search.php>. Only species which are naturalized, would be listed here. It was a cultivated plant. ID suggestions are anyway welcome. I would be happy to know if it has a different identity. Tabish
