I could not find which species of Dahlia is found wild in india. Details reading at Dahlia <https://www.researchgate.net/publication/337324233_DAHLIA> (different species and cultivars) could not give the answer. It does not give any species as native to India. Maybe some cultivar of Dahlia pinnata <http://www.plantsoftheworldonline.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:30027297-2> has naturalised in India.
